Operations Crews
The District Operations staff are charged with great responsibility. Not the least of which is to keep the water clean and flowing in over one hundred miles of pipelines and through one hundred pumping systems, totaling nearly 10,000 horsepower. Not to mention a 4 million gallon a day water treatment plant at the top of Promontory. They install new services, meters, lines, and repair a myriad of water leaks in the older systems. They test the water for compliance with state and federal water quality standards, and are ready day or night to respond to any emergency.
